Assemblymember Janet Nguyen Unites Republican Donor and Grassroots Support

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA –Since announcing her campaign, Janet Nguyen has received tremendous support from around the district and the state. In addition to local endorsements, she had received the endorsements of four Republican organizations; the Republican Party of Orange County, The Republican Party of Los Angeles, the Lincoln Club of Orange County and the California Republican Party.

“I am honored to receive these coveted endorsements. This election is about who is best prepared to represent the local community, with the unified Republican support I will have the combination of campaigns resources I need to succeed,” said Janet Nguyen.

The newly drawn 36th State Senate District is an open Senate seat that leans Republican and is in Orange and a small portion in Los Angeles counties.

Assemblymember Nguyen in her capacity as State Assemblywoman and her previous service in the State Senate, and the Orange County Board of Supervisors, has represented the majority of the voters of this newly drawn Senate District for 18 years.

Janet Nguyen is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine. She and her husband Tom Bonikowski live in Huntington Beach with their two elementary-aged sons. She has resided in the district for over thirty years.
