Assemblymember Janet Nguyen Earns the Endorsement of Major Orange County Public Safety Organization in her Campaign for Senate
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA –Today, Assemblymember Janet Nguyen announced receiving the endorsement of the Orange County Chapter of the Peace Officer Research Association (PORAC) in her campaign for the newly drawn 36th Senate District. PORAC is one of the largest public safety organizations in the State of California representing agencies at the local, state and federal level.

In an endorsement letter, Orange County PORAC Chapter President, Edgar Hampton cited Assemblymember Nguyen’s longstanding support of public safety as the reason for their endorsement stating, “Because of your past support of public safety in Orange County, your continued support for public safety and other factors – we proudly endorse your election.”

The newly drawn 36th State Senate District is an open Senate seat that leans Republican and is within Orange and Los Angeles counties.

Assemblymember Nguyen in her capacity as State Assemblywoman and her previous service in the State Senate, and the Orange County Board of Supervisors, has represented the majority of the voters of this newly drawn Senate District for 18 years.
